@AppleValleyPD How do we get our street more patrolled ? We are on a busy street and lots of kids and cars drive way over the limit all the time and we barely see patrol. Concerned for our children’s safety.

@tommerdahl While drinking coffee while driving is not illegal in and of itself, distracted driving is a ticketable offense. When trying to take a sip of coffee, tea, water, etc. it is best to make sure your vehicle is stopped to avoid becoming distracted. #JustDrive

@tommerdahl Cedar Ave/ 42 is one of the busiest intersections in Dakota County. With the help of other DC agencies the AVPD often is able to do targeted traffic details to conduct extra enforcement for these violations.
