After over a year as the G3, and two years of command, we are on to the next adventure! What an incredible three years this has been with the most deployed division in the US Army. The 10th Mountain Division has the best friends, teammates, and leadership. climb to Glory!

@TheMilitaryGuid Thank you for what you continue to do for the military community. It has provided guys like me with a sensible roadmap to FI. One thing I haven’t heard you speak on is post FIRE and drawn down of accumulated assets. Have you addressed this anywhere?

Officially an Army Space Officer 🎉
7 weeks, 3 exams, 1 paper, 1 oral presentation & we finally made it! Hardest but most rewarding class i’ve ever taken in the Army. 2+ years went into getting to this point & it’s still so surreal that I made it 🥹

So, let’s talk FA40. Space Officer. I’m super interested in this MOS. Not on Active duty but when I go to the Guard. How much calculus/math is involved. Can you tag someone who you trust and who is an amazing leader that can share about this really cool sounding job?

@Erik_the_Redleg I did this outside of the DEOCS, but it could easily be included: What do we start doing?; What do we stop doing?; What do we keep doing? Got his from LTG Beagle and it provided me with some quick wins and a good understanding of the BN.

@ArmySpaceMan That’s good to know Sir! I was talking to a senior CPT FA40 at DIV the other day and he said it’s few and far between. I still have time but I know where I’ll be for the next 4 years so ILE is the next job after this one!

Recently learned that most functional areas don’t attend resident ILE and now I am big sad 😭 How the heck am I supposed to continue to keep my fam together. Why would FA’s not be offered the same opportunities?
