We are proud of @omsinghneurosci's new study. Supported by @SepidehSheybani et al, Om's work identifies GHSR-expressing SCN neurons as regulating food intake at one particular time of day, accounting for at least 7% of a mouse’s body weight.

Excited to share our new study arguing for the existence of parallel neural pathways mediated by LepR or non-LepR neurons that each is sufficient to drive obesity. The obesity driven by non-LepR neurons is relevant to DIO and can be a novel neural basis for leptin resistance.
