The Monroe County DCS office partnered with @BT_Transit for their 25th annual Stuff-A-Bus event. Thanks to donations made by the community, more than 300 children in care will benefit from the event during the holidays.

In observance of Labor Day, Bloomington Transit will be operating on a Sunday Schedule on September 2, 2024. See our website for Sunday route schedules and keep an eye on the ETA Spot app for up-to-the-minute information on detours, delays, and arrival times.

Route 9 Limited will not operate Tuesday July 2nd and Wednesday July 3rd. Passengers should use the Route 9 and/or Route 3 East as an alternative.

The previous Uber voucher for the Late Nite program has expired. Users will need to download the new voucher for the month of June. Vouchers are available on our website: bloomingtontransit.com/bt-late-nite-o… Going forward vouchers will be good for one month at a time.

June road construction projects will impact some Bloomington Transit routes. Keep up-to-date with detour information and service alerts in the ETA spot app.

In observance of Memorial Day, Bloomington Transit fixed route and BT Access services will not operate on Monday, May 27. Additionally, the downtown transit terminal and Grimes Ln offices will be closed.

Bloomington Transit will transition to its summer schedule on Sunday, May 5th, 2024. Routes 6 Limited, 12, and 14 do not operate during the summer and routes 6, 9, and 9 Limited have reduced service. Bus tracking, detour info, schedules, etc. are available on the Spot app.
