Was God on the side of the Pope’s father when he stormed the beaches of Normandy to “wield the sword”?
Megan Basham tweet media
Pope Leo XIV@Pontifex

God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.

@Realtorpro123 @OperHealAmerica Shut up you daughter of satan. You dare claim Christ is your Lord yet proclaim such profanity from your mouth. You're just like your father the devil, acknowledging God's existence yet acting against His Commandments. You will be held accountable unless you repent.

@OperHealAmerica In my opinion he’s not in very convincing sheep clothing. Kinda obvious but apparently not to everyone

@RussWrId @Alex_Torres1993 @MrOzor1 @DallasConserve @ChristopherHale Revelation 12:1 — “A woman clothed with the sun…” Exodus 25:10–22 — The Ark of the Covenant (typology) 2 Samuel 6:9 — Ark parallel (“How can the ark of the Lord come to me?”) Luke 1:43 — “Why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” (2/2) Happy?

@RussWrId @Alex_Torres1993 @MrOzor1 @DallasConserve @ChristopherHale Bro listen one final time. God by nature is sinless and cannot sin. Mary by nature is human and can sin, however God exempted her from the original sin. Throughout her life she could have sinned but she didn't. Scripture and Tradition back this claim. No more yapping. Go study.

@kai_sa53134 @TheMaronite I meant a Christian kingdom in Lebanon, which would stabilise the region for atleast the next 25 - 30 years. And then we would probably see new wars. I mean it's true that this whole region is cursed because certain groups of people will not calm down ever.

@Based_Nation @TheMaronite The moment Christians decided to mass leave the area it was over. Obviously understandable but again you expect to build a state from a far.

Absurd and inhuman violence is spreading ferociously through the sacred places of the Christian East, profaned by the blasphemy of war and the brutality of business, with no regard for people’s lives, which are considered at most collateral damage of self-interest. But no gain can be worth the life of the weakest, children, or families. No cause can justify the shedding of innocent blood.

@kai_sa53134 @TheMaronite So are most european nations doomed? Because the way immigration is going, there's the same ethnic diversity happening. If it's because of the geography, the only way forward is to make it a Christian Kingdom in the region, don't you agree?

@Based_Nation @TheMaronite It’s always the same argument and in the no one is getting anything from it. Lebanon is doomed by its geography and also internal ethnic diversity. It’s tragic but it’s the reality. Same way Palestine is doomed because of power dynamics and also internal turmoils.

@TheMaronite This argument is poor cuz it’s easy to disregard it by claiming that Israel are the ones who pushed the plo in the first place and that this plo’s reaction was totally expected. Lebanon’s issues are essentially due its proximity to Israel/Palestine nothing more or less.

Yes, Christianity brainwashed me. Now I want to: - Stay away from drugs - Stop watching porn - Stay married to one person - Forgive and pray for my enemies - Be more like Jesus Maybe everyone needs some brainwashing.
