This is what a 25-year double life looks like. A man who publicly supported Palestine while secretly reporting to Mossad. In 2008, Lebanese authorities arrested Ali al-Jarrah and his brother Youssef in the Beqaa Valley and charged them with spying for Israel. Ali confessed to working for Mossad for 25 years — since 1983, one year after Israel's invasion of Lebanon. He said he was recruited by Israeli officers who had imprisoned him during the conflict. For over two decades, Ali posed as a supporter of Palestinian causes and was a member of a Palestinian militant group. In reality, he was photographing Hezbollah supply routes, tracking the movements of political leaders, and reporting on Syrian military positions. Investigators found sophisticated communication and surveillance equipment hidden in his home and car. He received over $300,000 in payments and was given Israeli passports to travel to Israel for training and debriefing sessions. In 2011, a Lebanese military court convicted him and sentenced him to life in prison. Ali al-Jarrah is a relative of Ziad Jarrah, the hijacker of United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. The New York Times reported that the two men were approximately 20 years apart in age and "do not appear to have known each other well." No official investigation has established any connection between Ali's espionage activities and Ziad's involvement in the 9/11 attacks. This case was first reported in 2008 and is resurfacing on social media in 2026.

Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East
Canada purchased this drone from Israeli arms company Elbit Systems for $36M in 2020. It has been painted blood red, presumably in memory of the scores of Palestinians killed by similar Elbit drones in Gaza, upon whom these weapons have been “battle-tested.” A reminder in our skies of Canada’s complicity in genocide.

Jake Tapper says Hasan Piker (@hasanthehun) is antisemitic for criticizing Israel, and politicians should avoid Hasan's stream. Here's Tapper's colleague, Dana Bash, on a podcast where she nods along while the host brags about destroying Gaza. Is this acceptable @jaketapper ?

Streamer and commentator Hasan Piker said that “if” Palestinian fighters carried out rapes and sexual violence on October 7, it does not justify genocide against 2 million Palestinians in Gaza. CNN’s Dana Bash finds his remarks deeply objectionable. No major human rights organization — including Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, or the UN Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory — has published findings confirming a single verified rape case from October 7. The narrative was nonetheless amplified aggressively by Western media. CNN played a central role, broadcasting accounts that were later found to be unsubstantiated or fabricated, helping construct the justification framework for what human rights experts, including UN investigators, have called a genocide in Gaza. The pattern employed by Bash has deep colonial roots. Allegations of sexual violence have repeatedly been weaponized to justify collective punishment, lynchings, and mass killing—from the U.S., where false claims were used to legitimize the lynching of Black men, to colonial contexts like Kenya under British rule and apartheid South Africa, where such accusations helped rationalize brutal repression against dehumanized populations seeking freedom and equal rights.

CNN's @DanaBashCNN: "Hasan Piker is excusing sexual violence by Hamas terrorists. He also claims Hamas is, quote, 'a thousand times better than Israel.' Hamas is a designated terror organization, not just by the U.S., but by the EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand."
