Sorry to say I’ve pretty much decided to scale back my posts on this platform. I’m not coming off completely, but my days of spending 4 or 5 hours a day producing posts seen by about 500 people have got to come to an end. I’m fed up on my own feed seeing countless posts about Trump or Elon Musk or random people from the USA who are constantly spouting their MAGA nonsense. For an account that is purely about Manchester United you have got to ask yourself what algorithms is Musk telling his people to inflict on others? An international tariff war only serves to create mistrust, uncertainty & inflation. Sure there may be gains, reshuffling of rates etc. But we’ve seen how fast sentiment can turn on a global ‘untouchable’ brand like Tesla. Trump risks turning global sentiment against brand USA.
