Before Easter, we actually had a new Pollen release, implementing mana into FPC and Autopeering. We can now actually test byzantine behavior during double spends! Sorry for not tweeting sooner... blog.iota.org/pollen-testnet…

Initially, we considered using CA in coordicide, but since CA is beastly complicated we opted for FPC. This fall, we funded research to tame this CA beast with physics: using temperature to introduce random fluctuations to break metastable states. blog.iota.org/research-grant…
