After hearing Teddy's words, a new goal probably emerges for Isagi: he will become someone who transcends that project. Not to prove that he belongs to Blue Lock, but to prove BL is part of HIS story

There's no one in the series that have been built up with as much parallels as Sae and Isagi.
The no.2 debate, Isagi in 311 mirroring exactly with Sae, Isagi's relationship with Rin, similar answers for the "if you hadn't encountered football" question in the egoist bible, etc.

not that it was bad news, bc this has been obvious since sae was introduced. but it's still not great bc it's giving nothing burger. personally, i'd rather have isagi's involvement in the itoshis' arc stay minimal and indirect instead of having him be at the center of it again.
