It still surprises me how badly misunderstood the RWA story is.
I’ve been on the phone all week with reporters, the largest instos, family offices, whales, degens, etc — almost everybody still gets it wrong. They still think this is fractionalized art, or tokenized venture funds or trad permissioned assets & use cases
RWAs are about making it easy to interact with the real world onchain in a crypto native UX. The token is a superior UX — you can buy, swap, stake, lend, borrow, etc. When done right, RWAs cease to be RWAs. They turn into crypto
See the stablecoin as an example. Nobody thinks of the stable as an “RWA” — the stablecoin is just crypto. I swap into it wherever i want, it’s composable across defi, etc
We’re doing this for everything in the real world. From financial instruments to gold bars to durian farms. When the markets are up, hold tokens. When the markets are bad, swap into RWAs. And then use them across defi and mix and match between crypto native and rwas however you want. And it doesn’t have to relegated to physical things — ideas & concepts about the real world are being tokenized on Plume
This is the story of RWAs. Institutions are coming — but we have to first show them the way. Replicating the same tradfi system but onchain is not only a massive L but also atypical. New innovations have *never* started top down. People drive change and instos adopt later. See the iphone, dropbox, uber, etc as an example — users came first, insto came after
We are not just mirroring the real world onchain. We’re building a new system for the entire world that blends together crypto and the real world. And we’re doing this bottoms up and people first. Owned by the people, driven by the people, and built by the people

This is why we work nights and weekends. We’re blessed to get a chance to work on something this large and with this much potential. We have so much to do and the stars have aligned to give us a perfect window to turbo send this story to the moon

No fuckery, no back tracking, no constantly changing terms
We respect not only our community but the entire crypto community and while we don’t always get it right we’ll work 24x7 to earn your trust every single day.
