Dear @nikitabier and @elonmusk Accounts showing locations inside Iran and operating without VPN are, without exception, defending the Islamic Republic, its ideology, its actions, and even its crimes, while whitewashing a regime that massacred tens of thousands of Iranians just two months ago. At a time when Iran is under a total internet blackout, these accounts are not “ordinary users.” All of them operate with regime-approved SIM cards to push a narrative aligned with state propaganda. Limiting their reach would help amplify the voices of real Iranians, those who risk everything to get online through methods the regime considers illegal. Some have already paid with their lives, like Hesam Alaeddin, who was killed by regime forces for having access to Starlink.
