The UK has suffered the worst covid death toll in Europe, and the worst economic toll too. I would suggest this indicates our Govt has handled the pandemic spectacularly, disastrously badly & my sympathy goes not to them but to all the victims of their woeful incompetence.

@piersmorgan I feel sorry for the government they are dammed if they do dammed if they don’t. Would another government handled this crisis any better I seriously doubt it. It’s aright to sit from the sidelines criticising with hindsight but to govern in these circumstances is another matter.

Good luck to @HMTAllegra on becoming the new Govt spokesman tasked with trying to defend Boris Johnson every day on live TV. On balance, I would rather lower myself into a vat of sulphuric acid every day - it would be less corrosive to the soul. But I wish her well.
