Last night, we went to sleep learning of another horrifying incident of gun violence, this time at Brown University. This morning, we woke up to news of an abhorrent, antisemitic attack at Bondi Beach in Australia. Doug and I are praying for the victims of both attacks and their families, as well as the communities that have been torn apart by this violence. We are thankful for the first responders and courageous citizens who stepped up and saved lives. We must all condemn acts of gun violence and hate, and demand action — not just thoughts and prayers.
