Nah yall are dumb. We already have the Alan rickman version. Let’s try something new. “Whiteness” is not a care element of Snape’s character. His main trait is being an outsider. Making his character a dark skinned black man actually adds elements to his character that can further explore his ostracizing.

Let's be clear. There's a lot of issues with this HBO Harry Potter series. Extra unnecessary added details, pointless raceswaps of minor characters that I, like many other Potterheads, could have overlooked. But Black Snape is such an insulting slap in the face it's a 100% deal breaker.
