I have been seeking funding for this project in Cortown over the last few years and I have worked with the GAA Club, the school, church and local community to have these works carried. These works will greatly improve road safety, lighting & the general streetscape of the village

➡️ Eight new streetlights will be installed in the village in early 2025. ➡️ A new raised area pedestrian crossing will be installed at the school. ➡️ There will also be a raised area speed ramp near the GAA pitch. ➡️ Upgrade works to the footpaths are being carried out.
