Roadside parking must always be to the right of the white line in on Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd (SR 190) even if you have a reservation.   Reservations can be made at parkbcc.com.

The Town is implementing the reserved parking on the weekends and holidays to alleviate canyon traffic and safety concerns.   Visitors should not come up the Canyon past Willow Heights and plan to park without a parking reservation on those days.

Starting Friday, December 15, the Town of Brighton is implementing mandatory reserved parking Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays along SR 190 from about ¼ mile above the Willow Heights trail head to the Guardsman road intersection.

Visitors should not come up the Canyon past Willow Heights and plan to park without a parking reservation on those days.    Roadside parking must always be to the right of the white line in on Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd (SR 190) even if you have a reservation.

Reservations are required from 7 am until 1 pm on those days.  The cost per reservation is $10.  Additionally, 20 parking spaces will be available for early morning “dawn patrol” parking at 6 am.

Heads up BCC #SR190 travelers, the @OnHillEvents Drop 13 Half Marathon is tomorrow AM (6/10) & may impact travel. @UPDSL & @CHCity PD will be facilitating traffic control from 6AM-9AM w/ race participants in downhill lane, starting at @SolitudeMTN & finishing @ Old Mill Village.

🦺#ConstructionAlert 🦺 @RMP_Utah has resumed construction to make improvements to overhead power lines in order to mitigate wildfire threats along #SR190. 📍: Crews are working between MP 4 & 5 near Mule Hollow. 🦺: Expect one-way traffic, delays & potential noise/dust/vibration
