An unidentified drone struck the tanker Altura in the Black Sea, which was transporting Russian oil. The deck, bridge and engine room were damaged, with water ingress reported. No casualties on board. Altura is part of Russia’s “shadow fleet” used to bypass sanctions.

How can Iran, or anybody, possibly reach an agreement with Trump? 1. Trump lies about everything all the time. He is unable to provide relevant accurate information. he cannot negotiate. 2. Trump complains that anybody he wants to lead Iran is being killed, read: is being killed by Israel, but Trump does not even name Israel & even less complains. 3. Thus, it is not clear that Trump has agency or is only a servant of Israel. 4. Trump violates all agreements he has ever made, so why make an agreement with him. 5. Trump uses his business associated Witkoff & Kushner as "negotiators", while they seem only interested in making money for the Trump sphere. Not even Iran is that corrupt. 6. Iran earnestly negotiated twice with the Trump clowns, but then Trump started bombing them. Can Trump guarantee that he won't do that again? No, because Trump has proven that he is completely mendacious & untrunstworthy. Conclusion: Iran is likely to maintain control of the Strait of Hormuz as long as it can & will find it almost impossible to make any agreement with the unreliable liar who is the US autocrat.
