On this bylaw the councillor has got more emails than he received over Gondek’s climate emergency or the planned cancelling of the fireworks on Canada Day or the tax hike.

Yesterday’s vote to start the repeal process on the Single Use Items bylaw was a big WIN for the vast majority of Calgarians that wanted it but unfortunately our motion to rebate residents a portion of the 7.8% tax hike FAILED:(

@cityofcalgary I am glad that Calgarian spoke ! What a waste of time that is going to be spend to scrap this policy . How long is going to take ? Does city employees do not have any other important and valuable things to spent time on ? Don’t forget we pay your salary .
