In truth, the Taxila cross has nothing to do with Christianity. The cross didn't become a prominent symbol of Christianity until the 4th century AD (earlier Christians used other symbols, such as the chi-rho). Moreover, the "Greek cross" or "plus sign" is a common geometric motif. The cross itself is a common motif. The Brahmi letter ka or "𑀓" also has a cross-shape and the same is true of the Roman lower-case letter "t." However, 20th century archeologists and clergymen were desperate for any physical evidence of Christianity in the subcontinent prior to the 7th century AD. Therefore, they projected this 3.8 cm (1.5 inches) stone plus-sign as archeological "evidence" for Christianity in the subcontinent. It didn't matter to them that it was found in 1935 by a farmer tilling a field outside the city walls and therefore unstratified (i.e. it could be 2,000 years old, or it could have dropped out of a someone's pocket in the 1700s). I didn't matter to them that Sirkap was mostly abandoned by the Kushans around 80 AD, too early for cross iconography. It seemed to fit their desired narrative, so they accordingly portrayed it as clinching evidence for 1st century Christianity and proof of the Gondophares-Thomas legend. @SamDalrymple123

"This cross was found in 1935 at Taxila, and it may just be the oldest evidence of Christianity in the subcontinent" Taxila, in modern-day Pakistan, an ancient city with a long history, a major centre of civilization and trade from the 6thC BC until its destruction in the 5thC AD

Gaand phat chuki hai idea of India ki, now it's each community trying to lootmax public resources . Only thing keeping this republic intact is guilt infested GCs thinking that it's their duty to help all Bahujanists. Once that guilt goes away a civil war is inevitable

Why are Indian express and other media outlets not mentioning that the combined population of SC and ST is 40% in Odisha and that the constitutional provision requires states to reserve seats for them in proportion to their population. The hike is basic fundamental requirement.

Less bureaucratic bullshit. When I was at IISER, all the scientists, the vast majority of whom had returned from US and Europe had to ask for permission and 5 different signatures for releasing funds, traveling to conferences or even buying basic supplies like say a hard drive for storing data. The gatekeepers or the admins who sign off on these things and can block things, tend to be vastly under-qualified than the scientists themselves, yet they wield disproportionately high power and have the ability to meddle with things way above their intellect. While scientists elsewhere can focus on research, Indian scientists spend a huge amount of time and energy fighting the system. And the system sucks at every level. I know scientists whose machines were stuck at customs for months. Cut red tape, cut bureaucracy, more autonomy.

What is the one thing the Indian government can guarantee to bring back Indian scientists, physicists, mathematicians, and professors settled abroad?

The writing is on the wall. All major political parties are against GCs. 20 years down the road we will be starring @ 90% reservations and reservation in Pvt sector too. GCs should get into business, big or small, successful ones help other GCs to start a venture, even mirco business will do. 20 years down the road GC should be dominating the business world Even better if GCs can pool their resources, form a company, profits from that company should help fund several micro businesses run by GCs Nothing is impossible We just have to open our mind and expand our horizon. Muslim shops mostly employ muslims, GS shops should employ GCs. Purchase from a GC. It's a matter of survival of the fittest. These casteist parties need to be put in place

The season depends on Viktor Gyökeres Havertz and Jesus have once again shown why they are symbols of failure from the past. Their only use is off the bench to keep Gyökeres healthy. I couldn't believe some of the idiots touting them as saviours Gyökeres is the only winner out there. He is not scarred or damaged by the past like the others. His past is making history at his previous club, who also only won a Covid trophy before he came along Feed him! He has a 65% conversion rate in this demonic system. He's the most clinical striker on earth He was the main positive from today with Dowman. We have Viktor. Trust him. Play for him

He cleverly wants to add 1.5+ Crore Muslims population of POJK to India but do you want 1.5+ Crore Pakistani POJK people roaming in your Country I want POJK back but without the Local Population, the local population isn't dying to join us, they are anti-India to the core & more radicalized than Pakistani Punjabis

You need a really, really thick skin to survive in India. The amount of miseries, disappointments, let downs, emotional attacks, discrimination an ordinary Indian has to bear and see daily is no joke. This is what happens when greedy people take over and all institutions are made defunct.

Party dalal won't tell you that when crude oil prices were at lowest with Russian discounted oil plus 20% ethanol still petrol prices remained same. Govt looted us for 3-4 years and it's been only 1-2 months where prices have soared and you're saying oh govt didn't raise price😂
Mr Sinha@Mrsinha

Shameful: The Govt increased petrol prices by ₹137 and diesel prices by ₹184 per litre. Oh wait, it’s the Pakistani govt. In India, prices have remained almost the same for the last 4-5 years, despite Covid, global crises, and all odds. This is how PM Modi failed you…!

@SirLeoBDasilva Sorry though. Arsenal management had no ambition. Arsenal were taking 8-2 back in the early 2010s. Van Persie did ask the owners to show something.
