When a prefabricated structure used as a mosque is set on fire in Hokkaido, a suspect is quickly identified, arrested, and his name and age are promptly made public. Yet when shrines and temples — the very symbols of Japan’s native traditions — are repeatedly targeted across the country, the cases often remain unsolved, with little information released and no arrests announced. If the principle is that any act of arson against a place of worship must be pursued with full vigor, then the same standard should apply regardless of whose religion is involved. The disparity in speed and transparency raises an obvious question: are all places of worship treated equally under the law, or are some considered more worthy of protection than others?

I reached the end of 2.2 in WuWa today. I don't even KNOW WHAT TO SAY, I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS. The writing was incredible. It was so beautifully done! HUGE KUDOS TO KURO FOR INSANE QUALITY OF 2.X! Every mystery and piece of the puzzle fell into place. I love Cantarella and Cartethyia so much. Both are wonderful characters. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the reveal of Cantarella's sacrifice and how it actually gives Cartethyia the chance to move forward and become who she wished she could be. The sentinel's final questions to both Rover and Cartethyia. UGH. The voice actors were incredible all the way through. Thank you to them for making such an immersive story come to life. Amanda Rischel absolutely nailed it with Fleurdelys/Cartethyia and the differences in their voices to set them apart. Jane did incredible on Rover too, she's absolutely making FRover my favorite MC ever. And oh my GOODNESS, my love for Cantarella is unparalleled. What a powerful character through and through. I could write a novel about how I felt on 2.2 but I'll leave it at this. I say it again. Wuthering Waves is absolutely a 10/10 in my book. 💙 Looking forward to more.
