@cedar_yote definitely consider it!!! even their beaver fur and minky is great, and they have more colors added all the time. it was hard to stop buying from Howl tbh, but it’s been much easier lately since ditching them

@ChasingTailsWS especially since bigZ recently improved their fur quality, i think i might do the same. i’ve been very frustrated with howl all around lately ngl

so i think unless specially requested im gonna stop ordering fur from howl/fabrics all together, ive not been super impressed with the quality lately + with how often they’re out of stock, they’re unreliable 😭 BigZfabrics my beloved

@FestiveBuckArts same!!! it’s always been my preference, but wanted to make sure people could have their specific colors and ended up with quite a lot. but it’s SO not worth it, especially since BigZ’s quality is excellent anyway, and they have plenty of colors to choose from now! :D

@ChasingTailsWS Lots of people share the same sentiment- I've been using BigZ for a whole year now on practice suits. The pile is so much more full and fluffy comparatively!

@Sadpuppydawgg i was in a similar boat for some paws and tail, client ended up going for BigZ anyway despite the fur not perfectly matching since it’d been 4 months with no restock and their con was coming up 😭 like man…,

@ChasingTailsWS I was supposed to have a bodysuit finished by January. Its almost March and Howl has not restocked the fur that I needed. I greatly dislike howl

@LLMCostumes exactly 😭 like, i love the color diversity!!! but it doesn’t matter when they’re out of stock 80% of the time, their shipping is slow, and their lux shags are Like That. excited to try the new furs from BigZ next restock 🥺💕

Since the announcement of BigZ’s new fur line, I think we’re gonna be seeing a lot of this. Until Howls fixes their issues, my business will be turned solely to BigZ going forward.
