-along a 55 miles later long path. April 3, 1956 was apart of a two day outbreak. In all April 3 had 27 tornadoes, 4 being in Michigan. The total outbreak from Oklahoma and Kansas to Ohio and Michigan had 46 tornadoes.

The final tornado in west Michigan touched down just outside of Bangor. It spent most of its life in rural farm areas occasionally passing just outside or scraping the outskirts of a town. The worst damage it did was on Eagle Lake. After the final tornado lifted, 12 were injured-
