@CityStrides is there a way to set a challenge to run every street in a given place BUT starting from ZERO? Meaning, even if I have already completed that street in the past?

I joined @CityStrides this week. I like the set up but I was under the impression I could use Strava data from before my joining date, am I wrong?

@chegaw I was about to joke a bout how it's only an ~8 hour walk, but then looked back & saw your ~11 hour Day 6 ‼️
I've done Ennis -> Doolin & barely managed to shuffle in with the sunset

So my city has lots of private roads which you can’t run down so getting to 100% on @CityStrides seems impossible. What do others do in this scenario?

@tohvoigt The automated process was updating cities roughly monthly ... performance started slipping badly, to every ~3 months ... I'm mid/tail end in rewriting that & I'm *hoping* for something closer to weekly

@briankirrane The paid version allows you to filter your view, but that doesn't scope your city progress - just the display.
The paid version also gives access to Challenges, which can have a start/end date - those let you scope/track your efforts.

Any #rundc @CityStrides users know if the paid version allows you to limit your date range for the 'life map'? Does paid version of Strava do similar mapping? Trying to aggregate just my 2023 runs on one map.

@CityStrides Or "I really will spend quite a lot of time travelling south because there is a lot of streets there". All of this at without zooming to 200 meters zoom (that is needed on CS because of 1000 nodes limitation).

A teraz podsumowanie najbardziej ambitnego projektu 2021: próby przespacerowania możliwie największej części Warszawy. Po prawej z granicami, po lewej bez. 30,4% ulic przebytych w całości (1577 ulic). 1915 km, 199 aktywności. Dwusetną zrobię jutro, bo lubię okrągłe liczby.

@pmgpmgpmgpmg Oh! I see - I didn’t expect you would want to share any kind of view of *incomplete* streets with others … that’s why I chose to have the LifeMap portion and the underlying street data separated

@pmgpmgpmgpmg Can you share an example “screenshot of city” so I can better understand that?
I’m thinking that this is the equivalent on the CityStrides side (so please correct me if I’m wrong)

@CityStrides @bazgrambazgram is much better solution than CS. I am aware of pro and cons of CS - usually CS is better. But to make "screenshot of city" - Ferret IMHO wins.

In these photos, the issue looks like my nodes display doesn’t show the available detail of streets - it’s just large dots that need to be zoomed in to figure out what they mean
