Bloomberg Green notes climate activists shifting tactics as banks grow less responsive... from yelling insults at them to yelling the same insults at their customers. As if customer response hadn't been the key all along.

There are no high solar & wind, low cost nations
You are told that solar and wind are cheap
But cramming in more solar and wind just makes electricity more and more costly
because solar and wind are worthless when not sunny and windy

Chapter 7 in last summer's DOE “red team” climate report notes IPCC claims of seas rising about 8 inches since 1900, hardly the claimed apocalyptic surge. And dire forecasts of acceleration might persuade more if alarmist billionaires stop buying waterfront mansions.

We'll be at that conference, BTW. Alas, not speaking... at least not this year.

The New York Times is upset that EPA Administraor Lee Zeldin will be speaking at the Heartland Institute / CFACT co-sponsored climate conference next month [that I am also speaking at]. The Times asserts that we “contradict decades of established science” about there being a “climate crisis.” Funny thing is, there is no consensus on whether there is or isn’t a “climate crisis” in the scientific community or literature. Just because global warming may be [mostly] man-made doesn’t mean that it is an existential threat. Nuance is evidently difficult for the low-IQ writers at the New York Times.

Oh look, more global heating. But who are you going to believe, some computer model or your own eyes?

Prof. Qing-Bin Lu challenges CO2-warming orthodoxy by predicting via his CRE model that the Arctic has begun cooling and sea ice won't shrink further but grow in the years ahead. Conventional models say otherwise. So let the science begin… by testing competing predictions.

“In an act of gross geopolitical hara-kiri, Britain’s output of electricity is down 25 per cent since 2004. We slashed North Sea oil and gas and refused to frack. Modern warfare is all about technology, manufacturing and logistics, and that requires cheap and plentiful power.” @AllisterHeath

Buffel Grass, valued forage or invasive pest depending on your source, or sometimes both at once, thrives with more CO₂: 4 experiments (2007–2014) show +300 ppm boosts growth ~99.5%, and 4 experiments (2001) show +600 ppm boosts ~78.8%—even with nitrogen limits.

CO₂ levels remained stable for 3 million years as the planet cooled into the Ice Age. The Pleistocene CO₂-temperature relationship, which convinced scientists that CO₂ drives the climate, is actually the exception, not the rule.

The cheap green lie
You are told that solar and wind are cheap
But you need near-100% backup when no sun or wind, paying for two systems
Data for 2024 shows that
cramming in more solar and wind makes electricity overall more and more costly

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has abandoned its ambition to become a fully electric brand by 2030, marking a significant shift in strategy as the global transition to electric vehicles shows signs of slowing at the very top end of the automotive market.

Global fires are dramatically declining in extent, emissions, pollution death risk and intensity.
Better land management, farming practices and suppression have tamed these fires.
This is human adaptation winning, not climate panic.

California now imports gasoline via the Bahamas despite big wind/solar investments — a stark sign that “green” energy policies haven’t delivered reliable, affordable power. Poor planning and climate zealotry can leave even wealthy regions without reliable power.
