Finished watching, "Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks". It's incredibly unusual for a theme park to release such a film, and even more rare for them to include aspects that openly acknowledge missteps and challenges they face. This wasn't a promotional film by any means. It shows the raw and honest view of creators and theme park executives with mistakes, challenges, and all. My takeaway is that Universal has some of the most creative, tenacious, and brilliant team members in the industry right now. They take on challenges that no one dares to even dream of. They learned from previous mistakes, like all of us do, and pushed forward to create a breathtaking new theme park. Creating theme parks is an art form, but while listening to Universal team members, you can also tell it is an act of love. Love for the fans, the creativity, and passion for the next big thing. To see @G_Prodigy's team conceive and bring to life Universal monsters with such attention to detail is phenomenal. It was nice to see the history and how it all ties together leading to Epic Universe. I always wondered who Jay Stein was after seeing his name on several buildings at Universal Studios. Thank you to ALL of the thousands of people who brought us Epic Universe, flaws and all. Lots of work still to do and challenges to overcome, but to see the immense dedication and hard work that was put into this park, it is truly inspirational. It's a feat no one else has accomplished in Orlando for the past 25 years. Be proud of what all of you have accomplished. #UOFistBump to all of you! Thank you to @jonstronglives for producing such an incredible view of the inner workings, while showing the audience the history of how it all came to be. Just brilliant. Dear Globie: An idea to consider: Do pass holder nights at Epic Universe four times per year. People would have to register just like the other parks. I'd pay to do this. Other idea. Offer pass holders an "After 4" ticket just to be able to enjoy the food and drink at Epic. @UniversalORL

@coachswife01 @UniversalORL Wholly agree! Line jumping by groups is out of control on multiple rides. Universal needs to make an example out of some of them and remove them from the park, then let the word get out.

@jake_coasters Universal is proof that you can still be publicly traded and not be a dumpster fire.

Hershend is a private company and family-owned. And Dolly is very active in the vision of the park A stark contrast to the publicly traded "profit at any costs" Six Flags and United Parks, both of which are in decline. The bean counters would love to tell you that their way is right. But Dollywood is ahead of everyone. Funny how that works.

@DuelingParkNews Inspections generally follow cycle count. It also seems like they may be making some improvements. I know there have been quite a few times over the past year where only one side was running. Hopefully 8 RV operations will work. I've seem them run 6 at times.

Universal Orlando has shared a statement on the Stardust Racers closure, saying the coaster is undergoing is first annual inspection and that "additional capacity and throughput enhancements" are being made.

@insideuniversal @UniversalORL Hyperia in the UK has had numerous closures, for weeks at a time. I'm certain whatever is going on will be fixed, but Mack Rides doesn't have the most stellar of reputation with reliability.

UPDATE: The closure of Stardust Racers has been extended yet again. The Epic Universe coaster is now listed as closed through April 5. @UniversalORL
