I have a theory: The market pays you for your patience, not just your activity.
3 days ago, I took a position in $7 (The 7 wanderers)
I looked at it, it made sense, and I got in. Before anything else, I had already defined my risk.
I set my stop loss at 75%, so worst case, I knew exactly what I was willing to lose.
At that point, the important decision had already been made.
Not long after, the price started dropping... slowly at first, then more aggressively.
And I let it.
The stop loss was there for a reason. If it got hit, it got hit.
There was nothing for me to second-guess or interfere with.
So I went to sleep.
By the time I woke up, the trade had already done an 8x from my entry.
While I was asleep, it dipped, found its floor, reversed, and ran, all without me touching anything.
I was patient enough to not panic sell.
I had already managed my risk before I closed my eyes.
There was nothing left to control and so I didn’t try to.
I went to sleep, and I let the trade do what it was going to do.
And it did exactly what it should do.
