@PhilMphela Yep! Growing up without a father really messed her up. Her saying she sees Big brother as a father is proof that she has abandonment issues.

So far 2 key questions are answered for me. Thandeka is how she is because she has some underlying issues with how she was raised. Thandeka wasn't lying about not having watched Big Brother. She actually studied the show after her application was approved and she had to do in-pwrson auditioned or something. This answers why she was able to reference previous seasons even though she said "she didn't watch the show".
