A family friend married a woman with nothing—no degree, no job and took her to the UK. He worked extra shifts, carried the bills, and held things down so she could go to school and build herself. Years later, she’s successful… and they’re still standing strong together. We don’t talk about these kinds of men enough. Men who sacrifice quietly for their wives’ dreams deserve their flowers too. Marriage is not always 50/50. Sometimes, one carries the load so the other can rise. That’s what building together really looks like.

After my breakup with my ex, I started dating a wonderful Puerto Rican guy who truly treated me right. He was everything I could have ever wanted in a partner! Unfortunately, the only problem was that I wasn’t completely over my ex, which ultimately led to our relationship not working out. I genuinely regret losing that amazing man. I wish I could turn back time and have him in my life again, but he’s married now.Things could have been so different if I had been able to move on from my previous relationship, but I just couldn't let go of that guy who didn’t deserve me.

Women don't love men *unconditionally* the way many men romanticize. Female love is typically conditional—tied to a man's status, resources, protection, and how he makes her feel. When those drop, attraction often fades fast. Men more often love women for who they are, even when she's not "winning." It's biology + evolution at play, not a conspiracy. Exceptions exist, but the pattern explains a lot of modern dating frustration.

"Women don't love men" Are women truly incapable of loving men? 🤔 If you understand, please explain.

I got married in October to a good woman I feel nothing for. My ex came back from Libya and every feeling returned immediately. I met my wife in 2024 after my long-distance relationship ended. I thought I had moved on. I rushed into marriage to do the right thing. My wife is calm. Respectful. No problems at all. But I wake up every day feeling like I married the wrong person at the wrong time. My ex is everything I actually want. I won't lie about where my mind has gone. I even considered getting my ex pregnant just to have a reason to leave without looking like the villain. We have no children yet. I feel trapped inside a good marriage I don't want. I don't know how to leave without destroying someone who did nothing wrong. A man narrates.... 🥲

If you are with someone who is not over their ex, they are likely to go back and cheat with them You should be expecting that

TRUE STORY 💔 My friend's brother was deeply in love. Family warned him repeatedly: “This girl is no good. Her ways are different. Listen before you enter.” He ignored them, called it true love, and married her anyway. Years later… Constant fights. Betrayal. Financial issues. A broken home with children caught in the middle. Now he’s living with regret… quietly trying to pick up the pieces. Sometimes love can blind you to what others can clearly see. Not every warning is hate. Some are wisdom. Listen well.

You have not experienced heartbreak until you get to a point where you have to literally go on your knees and beg God to remove the thought of that person from your heart because you are so hurt that you can physically feel the pain. Heartbreak is so terrible that it can cause panic attacks or even send you to a sick bed. You could be in class, at work, in church, at the gym, and all of a sudden, you are crying. You wake up some days and your heart aches so badly. Or it is the triggers like music, perfumes, restaurants, shows, etc. that start ruining your mood because they remind you of them. It just gets to a point where your only resort is to legit beg God to take the pain away. We joke about it a lot, but if you have experienced a severe heartbreak before, you know exactly what I am talking about. There is nothing that can take the pain away. But eventually, you will find a way to live with it. There will be nightmares. And every day when you wake up, it will be the first thing you think about. Until one day, it will be the second thing.
