@CodeWithAmann I once got hired because of this. Got asked a question I didn’t know. Instead of bluffing, I said I don’t know and asked him to explain. Later he told me that’s why I was chosen. Others said they knew it… but couldn’t explain it. Honesty > pretending.

a developer who admits they don't know something is more trustworthy than one who pretends. is this correct?

@CodeWithAmann I think generally in life that's quite applicable. When somebody is willing to admit their mistakes and their limitations, I think that shows self-awareness, and generally I would say that's a more trustworthy person.
