Tadej Pogačar is a top favourite for four consecutive World Championships races since Zürich 2024. Yes, Pogačar is the best cyclist in the world and extremely versatile, but this should not happen under good management by the UCI.
Basically, 4 consecutive Worlds are really hard suited for climbers. And then after 2027 France they won’t have a chance again until most likely Colombia 2032.
And riders like Pedersen or Van der Poel got only one chance for 6 years in Glasgow 2023. And sprinters didn’t have a single opportunity for 10 editions.
In my opinion, UCI should manage it in a way that during 5 years, classics riders like Van der Poel, Van Aert, or Pedersen should get 2 chances, sprinters 1 chance, Ardennes classics riders 1 chance, and then pure climbers 1 chance.
And UCI and UEC should also manage it in a way that the World and European Championships should not have a very similar profile. If one race is for climbers, the other one should be for classics riders or sprinters.
Now it is pure chaos everywhere and I am not a fan of it. Your opinion?

All eyes on the third and final week of the Tour de France. 😮
Let’s play a little game… who do you think will be the stage winners?
My guess:
Stage 16 - UAE will control and Pogačar will win on Mont Ventoux
Stage 17 - Breakaway will try, but won’t be successful, win for Tim Merlier
Stage 18 - Vingegaard will try a long range attack, but Pogačar will win on Col de La Loze
Stage 19 - Breakaway being successful, Carlos Rodriguez will win the stage, not much action between GC riders
Stage 20 - Another successful breakaway with Wout van Aert winning a stage
Stage 21 - Nothing will happen on Montmartre and Milan will win the sprint on Champs Elysees
What do you think? #TDF2025

@LUFC_WorldWide Every time this pops up I don’t get the correlation, Marsch kept us up and whilst on a dog fight you have to try everything and anything to which he did and as I said he kept us up from a position Bielsa had put us in
