@jroyalsfc Witt’s 2024 season will probably be the best season of his entire career. Most great shortstops had their best season under 25. So it’s not crazy that his best season is already better than any Jeter season.

@CoshReport I mean if you really want to take away his (short) debut negative war year you can. Baseball is different because you can’t put a lot of weight in age with difference in call ups. What I do know is Bobs last two seasons would be Jeters 1st and 3rd highest war szn in his career

We need to stop pitting two kings against each other. What we see from BOTH Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani puts them in the pantheon of the greatest to ever play the game of baseball. We are in the middle of maybe the two greatest primes in baseball history. They’re two different types of players. It’s not fair at all to even compare these guys considering Ohtani pitches & Judge plays RF. I love baseball and I love watching greatness, and not a single soul should be pitting them against each other. You ruin the greatness experience for yourself that way!
