অপরিচিতের সঙ্গে অনলাইনে বন্ধুত্ব! হরিয়ানা রাজ্যের লাডওয়া থানা এলাকার এক বাসিন্দা স্ত্রীর মৃত্যুর পর একাকিত্ব কাটানোর জন্য অপরিচিত এক মহিলার সঙ্গে ফেসবুকে বন্ধুত্ব করেন। কিছুদিনের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক হয় গভীর থেকে গভীরতর। খুব অল্প দিনের মধ্যে বিয়ের প্রস্তাবে রাজী হয়ে, গত ১৮ই মার্চ ঐ মহিলার সঙ্গে দেখা করার জন্য পূর্ব মেদিনীপুরের কাঁথিতে এলে, তাঁকে একটি গাড়িতে তুলে নিয়ে গিয়ে আটকে রাখা হয় এবং পরিবারের সঙ্গে ভিডিও কল করে ৫ লক্ষ টাকা মুক্তিপণ দাবি করা হয়। লাডওয়া থানায় একটি অপহরণ সংক্রান্ত ‘জিরো এফআইআর’ নথিভুক্ত হওয়ার পর, বিষয়টি কাঁথি থানায় স্থানান্তরিত হয়। তদন্তের ভার পরে সাব-ইন্সপেক্টর প্রীতম পাঁজার উপর। SOG টিমের সহায়তায় অভিযান চালিয়ে অপহৃত প্রবীণ ব্যক্তিকে কাঁথি থানার অন্তর্গত দারুয়া এলাকা থেকে উদ্ধার করে, অবশেষে গত ২৯ মার্চ অপহৃত অজিত বাবুকে পরিবারের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয়। গ্রেফতার এক মহিলা (৩০ বৎসর )। তদন্ত চলছে। @MedinipurSp
