The Bible doesn’t tell Christians to support a secular government in the Middle East. It teaches that the Jews are God’s treasured possession and the apple of His eye, that salvation is from the Jews, and that the Land (Eretz-Yisrael) belongs to them as an everlasting possession. The Bible talks about the people and the land. Governments change, but the people of Israel will remain until the end of time. And Christians should have a special care for the Jewish people, looking to bless them and promote their wellbeing, and by seeking to provoke Israel to jealousy to come to belief in Yeshua the Messiah so they can be saved.
