@DanWetzel I can’t recall the name; however it was close to the old Chrysler Headquarters…near Oakman Blvd and Woodward Ave area south of 6 Mile Rd (McNichols Rd.). HP and Hamtramck are small cities surrounded by Detroit!

@DanWetzel Yes, played with and against him on outdoor courts around Detroit, especially in Highland Park. He played on a terrific high school team, same era as Rudy Tomjanovich and the Brisker brothers Hamtramck High team. Lest we forget, the great teams within Detroit city limits!

This is a political trick of identifying a nebulous problem (mid major scheduling) then pushing a solution that doesn’t directly address it while ignoring other, less disruptive, ways that would. If they had a good reason to expand they’d say it.
