@Dani_WSDK I honestly love extended epilogues, getting to see these characters lives after the adventure. Not to set up anything, not for anything to do with the story, but for us the audience to let go of these characters.

Lord of the Rings the most well regarded novels maybe ever, have 6 whole chapters set after the Ring is destroyed, nearly half the 3rd book

They literally made a 2-hour episode where the story actually ended an hour and 15 minutes into it. The first rule of writing is to get in and out early and not linger. Someone forgot to teach the Duffer Brothers.
