After our daughters were slaughtered in Southport, we protested and were insulted, attacked and demonised. You came down on us like a ton of bricks, you harassed us in the street with riot gear and had people locked up within weeks. People died in prison as a result and still unjustly suffer there today. And this is your response to yet another horrific attack by an Islamic extremist? Asking the protesters nicely to stay at home? After the scenes we saw across the country this week. You're an utter disgrace - there will be national celebrations when you leave office.

@AcademicAgent_X Isn't this just art rather than cope? This is starting to ironically feel like cope about British decline...

@BethRigby A great example of misguided feminine empathy and agreeableness that empowers weak and deceptive men who are extremely dangerous. A massively underrated problem in our politics.

WATCH: Starmer on ‘beating himself up’ over Mandelson is worth watching because I really think it’s a very rare & believable moment where Starmer reveals how he’s really feeling; showing some vulnerability and anger with himself over the decision he took

What infuriates me is that we give these utter scumbags a prison sentence out of empathy, because we'd rather they survive here as opposed to being lynched back in Afghanistan. We are funding the comforts of our elite and a corrupt immigration system. And we all know that prison has become not much worse than a social jolly. It's all so sickening.

You're right that they aren't statistics, they are people with cultures that we do not recognise, families from other nations, and loyalties that are foreign to us. If you work here, you are not entitled to stay forever by default. The British people should decide who stays here and we overwhelmingly support a reduction in immigration. It's that simple. It doesn't matter how many hours you work or how friendly you are.

This week MPs heard powerful testimony from @UNISONtheunion General Secretary Andrea Egan and health and social care workers devastated by the Labour government's proposed changes to indefinite leave to remain. They aren't statistics. They are the backbone of our NHS, our social care system and our communities. The message to Shabana Mahmood was clear: stop targeting migrants and scrap the hostile environment. You can't out-Reform Reform.

All this video does is affirm the societal problems that we face and which the Greens will compound further: He used to run around in a "gang" annoying local residences. Racism is bad but the Greens will only refer to the English/British as "white guys" at the bottom of a hierarchy. And the only thing that unites us is slaving away together for big business. I noticed the subversive portrayal of Britain as some sort of multicultural haven back then despite it being 95%+ white. Those problems were overwhelmingly our problems. Mothin's Dad, despite his contributions, was largely irrelevant to the direction of the country and our national consciousness, and that's how we'd like it to be today. The Greens will lead this country into further ruin, and they're not even hiding it if you pay enough attention.

Superb political ad. One of the best you’ll see. This is better, and resonates more, than anything coming from Labour or the Tories.

@JMcMurdockMP Because they're racist. They hate us. This is one of the most subversive campaign videos I've ever seen. "English, French, German, black guys..." Imagine the uproar.

The Met previously said the investigation into the arson attack on several Jewish ambulances was looking at an Islamist group with potential links to Iran. Turns out two people arrested thus far are British nationals. The case is no longer being classed as a terror incident.

It's 2%, not 0.02%. Understanding the numbers is important. We have no control over how people spend their money. And if they're spending it, they're spending their value from work into the economy, ie they're contributing. If someone is paid via our taxes they are a net drain, they do not add value. We spent £139 billion in 2024/25 in welfare. That's objectively a huge problem when our debt is so high and growth is so low. It's double our defence spending and not far off of our entire NHS budget.

@DaveTalks @eneribehave @Frankie_1643 Students take up almost half of the 9m. People who don't want to work is only 0.02% of the pop, personally I'd rather use my energy against the those who receive my tax money and squander it on countless other things than welfare. It's not as big a problem as you're making out.

Bro just turned Seven Sisters road into Marylebone village. An integrated, mandatory design code and…awnings. It’s that easy.
Joseph@josephkazUK

This is Seven Sisters Road in @haringeycouncil. It's an utter embarrassment that we have allowed our high streets to deteriorate to this point. This parade of shops could be a landmark destination, but instead it's neglected and forgotten. I'm all for liberalising planning BUT design codes have a place, and this is a great example. No satellite dishes, no PVC, no estate agent signs, no white paint. Just consistent signage, colours and high-quality heritage shopfronts. @createstreets

Bar pensioners, of course it does. How else are they getting their money? When we say benefits we mean welfare broadly. When did I claim that the majority of those not working do not want to work? Why does that even matter in the context of what we're talking about and the original post? Even so, using your own statistic of 1.5m, that IS millions of people...

@DaveTalks @eneribehave @Frankie_1643 I've worked full time since 16. Millions not working doesn't = millions on benefits. Roughly, about 1.5m of the whole 9m are people who genuinely do not want to work...so the people you come after isn't the majority, as you have been led to believe.
