North Carolina lost one of its most dedicated public servants. May we all honor Representative John's legacy in our constant battle to make North Carolina better. Rest in peace.

Yesterday was my last day as your Representative. Thank you to everyone who supported me in this journey. The fog may keep us from knowing exactly what is to come, but faith has never been dependent on a clear path ahead.

Even though the results of this election were not what we would have wanted, I am thankful for all the folks that pitched in, whether with money or time, to get our message out. Together, we have centered the needs of our community, and we will continue to advocate for our needs.
