@BuryCouncil What will be done about the volume of traffic on surrounding & approach roads - closing the last 50yds of the road off doesn’t make the journey to school safer for a child - they have to survive the journey to that point first & this has just made those roads busier.

What will school & council do about Leigh Lane - much busier than Melrose and vehicles much closer to school grounds so what about the air quality & safety of children there?

@forgetcape Seem the same with the Grade II listed Salford Cathedral and the owners of some of the new apartments nearby complaining that the bells that have rung for 175 years are too loud for them - well it was there long before they were. What did they expect?

Imagine the sense of entitlement required to buy a flat next to a legendary venue and then complain about the noise, to the point of it being under threat. A simple precedent. No amount of money should allow you to make unreasonable demands on institutions of cultural importance.
