Just wanted to say, by no means necessary should Amaya Battle be getting attacked for what she said in her press. She played the game. Basketball is full of tactics, strategy, and a little bit of acting🤣. She made a basketball play and hoped for the best. Leave her alone!!

@kwhite0221 I agree it’s not the best look but once again, can you really fault her? This happens on a regular basis, it just so happened to get Ole Miss this time. The game allows for this to happen and until it’s fixed it will continue to happen.

@Dun4Luke Needs to be reviewable and if they flopped then the foul goes on them. That would stop that mess real quick. If not reviewable then fine them. 🤷‍♀️ Admitting to lying is a choice and not a good look on her.

My personal thoughts (by no means the thoughts of others): is this a bad quote? Yes absolutely. Should she be attacked? Absolutely not. She played “the game”, this is ultimately on the refs and she did what is currently allowed in the game.

"I'm just going to try and fall and see what happens. It worked out." -- Minnesota's Amaya Battle laughing on Cotie McMahon drawing a foul Battle is basically saying she was not fouled by Cotie. Yet, as we saw, Cotie was called for it. One of the very best players in the game, Cotie was only able to play for half of an NCAA tournament game because of this nonsense.
