Yet we're told a single trace gas, CO₂ at just 0.04% of the atmosphere, is the 'control knob', driving catastrophic warming. Water vapour (from 1–4% of the atmosphere) and clouds do more than 75% of the natural work of tidying up atmosphere dynamics, far better than CO₂. The oceans also hold 91% of the planet's heat energy. Then there is the sun, moon, volcanoes and orbital changes—these are the real drivers of climate over millennia. Blaming this one trace molecule for impending doom, while dismantling reliable energy and pouring trillions into net-zero, serves political and financial agendas far more than science. Earth's climate has always fluctuated—dramatically hotter and colder—long before humans even evolved. Natural variability will continue to dominate the biosphere and all cellular life. The real absurdity is pretending otherwise. In the end, the obsession with CO₂ as the 'control knob' of climate ignores the overwhelming power of earth's natural forces—the Sun's variability, lunar tides, tectonic upheavals, massive volcanic outgassing, oceanic cycles, storms, winds, and clouds—the things that have shaped Earth's dynamic environment for billions of years. Even the oft-cited example of Venus, with its crushing atmospheric pressure and periodic global volcanic resurfacing erasing ancient craters, demonstrates how extreme heat arises from dense atmospheric mass and geological processes, not simply a 'runaway' effect from one gas. Blaming a trace molecule at 0.04% for impending doom while dismantling reliable energy sources, serves political and financial agendas far more than genuine science. Earth's climate has always fluctuated dramatically without human input; and natural variability will continue to dominate, rendering the current alarmism not just flawed, but dangerously misguided. Earth has always been in a state of imbalance, flux and readjustment, yet never before controlled by a single trace gas in the atmosphere. The real irony: Earth needs to be hot enough—but not too hot; cold enough—but not too cold.
