@cafedujord Our Rental Housing Committee (which Mr. Cox sits on) tracks our vacancy rate closely because there are implications with our rent control law if the vacancy rate of full covered unit is consistently over 5%. Currently that rate is 4.6%.

Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈 Today, we held Mountain View’s inaugural Pride event, reaffirming our city's commitment to be a Community for All.

I had a great weekend at the California Democratic Party Convention! I attended the Close the Gap California Party for Parity, got re-elected to my Northern Vice Chair Seat for the AAPI Caucus, and saw my friend, Deepa get elected to be the Vice Chair of the Party!

🚨 A historic day in @mountainviewgov with the @MtnViewFire 🔥 Years in the making, our City celebrated our Ambulance Commencement Ceremony 🚑 What an incredible accomplishment for our city and grateful to all who made it possible! 👏🏼

This involved mechanical commissioning and implementation of an all-electric hot water systems. The facility is the first electrified municipal aquatics center in CA to include more than 10,000 sq. ft. of pool area.

💦 It was a long time coming, but we finally had our grand opening of our new aquatics center! The planned summer 2024 opening of the Aquatics Center was delayed to March 2025 due to construction challenges.
