@CMDeDominicis Amerks needed one more scoring forward in September. Then 3 by Xmas. Then 4 at the deadline. Now 5. That’s how bad of a situation it is!

The Amerks could have some blue line help on the way soon at least. Mrtka and the Thunderbirds are down 2-0 in their playoff series. Game 3 tonight. We’ll see if anything happens with the NCAA defensemen (Strbak, Geary, and Kleber).

@TomTelfer @LGA585 The coach also has to be flexible when his team lacks some basic talent. I don't expect similar output but I expect a different kind of leadership..one that has a pulse and one that doesn't make excuses. Guess I just don't like his style this year. Hope he doesn't return.

A 2nd playing of Mr Brightside might be a bit more energetic with a 5-3 lead vs previously being down 3-1.

@tedpc1 @LGA585 Since their embarrassing 9-3 loss to Laval at home and then a low effort loss at Syracuse on March 1, I’ve GENERALLY liked their effort. But a lack of offense or allowing a bad goal sometimes just creates frustration regardless.

@LGA585 It was a tough but pretty much expected loss. You can't gift good teams chances in the 3rd period. Our guys were very good but they just can't make mistakes. A lot to ask but we used to be the team that won those games

@ByMHarrington Lord MLB has ruined the minor leagues. A weekday home opener in Buffalo in March. Dozens will show up. It’ll be the same here in Rochester next Tuesday. Sad (It’s not new but these photos are always a stark reminder)

@puckhogz @LGA585 This isn’t minor league baseball who doesn’t really have playoffs. Success is measured by playoff wins in hockey. Especially here in Rochester. Reinforcements weren’t added.

@LGA585 This is minor league sports. Injuries to farm & parent team are devastating. Early in season Roc looked ok. Ostland had 10 pts in 7 games, Rosen, Helenius,Metsa others looking good. Even Hershey is struggling to stay in 4th. We also were spoiled by solid teams last 4 years

The last Amerks losing streak longer than the current 9 games was during the miserable 2007/2008 dual affiliation season when they lost 10 in a row. A few notable names: Sekera, Mancari, MacArthur, Tanner Glass, Pat Kaleta, Anthony Stewart, Mike Weber, Marc-Andre Gragnani.
