{ Starter for @feel_likeaghost } Cowan made his way towards a restaurant for lunch, needing some time away from his teammates to try to clear his mind. The hockey player hardly paying any attention to his surroundings, busy staring down at the Google Maps on his phone. ++

@hockey_fluff Cowan just sat still now, letting the medical team all be in his face, as much as he hated it. He held his breath for a moment or two, noticing his teammates now coming to check on him. He was their rookie and the youngest. “I’m fine…” he whispered to them now.

Out of the corner of his eye, as he walked into the arena Cowan now noticed Branch. His brows furrowed for moment, thinking the other player looked side. Despite being on opposite teams he couldn’t help but now approach. “Hey, are you okay?” He softly asked now.

@puckingbaby them truly used to be joint at the hip. It was true, Cooper always ran to him after every goal, defending, and whenever he needed a shoulder to lean on. And Cowan happily accepted all do that. But now they felt like strangers. ++
