A special moment for @FaceLabLJMU last night. Unveiling the historic human reconstruction of #KingRichardIII at @YorkTheatre. The amazing hard work of historians, linguists, @monmorley and many other experts created the King’s address in his contemporary original pronunciation!

It's great to see @FaceLabLJMU's recreation of the voice of King Richard III. The Face Lab team created the avatar based on the reconstruction of Richard III's head with the help of a craniofacial expert.

How did King Richard III speak? You may be about to find out. Scientists have spent 10 years recreating the voice of King Richard III and the final product has finally been revealed. The recreation suggests the 15th-century monarch had a northern accent. 👂🔽
