There have been rumours that this years Minecraft LIVE Mob vote was hacked/rigged. Mojang have confirmed that these "attempts" did not impact the final result in the Armadillo winning.

However, forking means that there are now TWO competing Minecraft Wikis, creating a war in the Google search results. So please don't use the Fandom wiki, to make sure the new one shows up first! (You'll have a FAR better experience too!)

The wiki editors voted to create a fork, mainly due to Fandom's terrible ad-filled layout. They chose to have the new wiki hosted by the company who host the official RuneScape Wiki, which has VERY few ads because their goal is not to make a profit.

The Minecraft Wiki is moving to minecraft.wiki! The old wiki will stay up, but please don't use it. (explanation in replies) This means: Only 1 small ad per page, no ads in the EU/UK, and no ads when logged in!

Update: Looks like they just googled "minecraft dropped items" and used one of the first results... How did they not realise this was a modded Java image? 🤦

Mojang have accidentally shown item physics in a Bedrock Edition changelog. This is likely a leaked 1.21 feature, as there is currently no physics mod available for Bedrock.

According to Mojang support, you'll lose access to Minecraft but you'll have 18 months to request a refund. From today, they will no longer help you migrate. The exact deadline is 3pm UTC on September 19th 2023. And no, old usernames will not be freed up.

PSA: In 2 weeks, Mojang will be permanently locking all PAID Minecraft accounts that haven't been migrated. If you know someone who hasn't played in the last 2 years, please let them know.
