God almighty! Did anybody in government watch the box room video before putting it out? Did they think of the hurt they would cause to young people forced to live back with their parents? People in their 20s and 30s locked out of home ownership, rents out of control, lives on hold, emigrating in their thousands. ⚠️ Diversion ⚠️ Approximately 2 hours ago, United Airlines flight UA925 / UAL925 from Heathrow to Washington diverted to Dublin Airport 💻 This was due to a passenger dropping a Laptop between the Armrest and the floor of their seat. As a fire-prevention precaution, Crew decided to divert to Dublin so the laptop can be removed safely my maintenance. Diverting is a standard procedure when a electronic device is stuck in a seat on transatlantic flights - this is to prevent a fire if a passenger reclines their seat damaging the phone and causing a mid-air fire. #aviation #avgeek #DublinAirport #Ireland #planes #UnitedAirlines #United #Airport #Diversion
