I didn't find anything about an excommunication, but that she was bigly triggered when the church publically criticized her and her ilk. Since then she doesn't identify as Mormon.

@JazzfanJustin @ExposeDezNat Whether or not they care should not be the litmus test. Harmful ideas/ideologies must be criticized and called out publically. The chance someone loses their job is just part of life...I am sure there are companies out there that will gladly hire him.

Which school you chose to attend). Wrong would have been to not give her a chance to answer and just run with the assumptions.
