A NEW look at Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 via IGN has revealed more info on the combat and other systems 🔹Soul Assist allows you to call on iconic characters for synchronized, dual-person tag-team attacks on a cooldown 🔹Soul Switch allows players to temporarily transform fully into legendary characters to utilize their exact movesets mid-battle 🔹Special and Ultimate moves are now categorized into three unique attributes: Guard-Piercing, Stamina-Draining, and Break Critical 🔹Reducing an enemy's stamina gauge to zero triggers a "Stamina Break" state 🔹Landing a Break Critical attack on a Stamina-Broken enemy activates a dedicated, high-damage cinematically flashy action animation 🔹The Technique/Ki Gauge constraint has been removed for special moves 🔹Attacks now operate on independent cooldown timers rather than consuming an overall technique pool 🔹The developers are prioritizing deep build customization and unique team strategy combinations over rigid competitive balance 🔹Your player's customizable room starts as Bulma's cluttered storage unit and will be dynamically cleaned up as you progress through the story

After the gameplay video, this is NOT the Xenoverse 3 I was initially hoping to see. Still need to see what proper PvP looks like, but my interest has definitely lowered a decent amount 😭

Personally a fan of all the MMO-isms joining Xenoverse 3 on paper… I think it’s gonna lend itself to quests/raid being way more fun- especially the co-op aspect. Curious on how this will all play out together in a player vs player setting though…
