Happy New Year, my lovely friends! I look out the window & today looks just like yesterday, yet somehow it's 2026... 😱 A whole new year at our fingertips & although I've tried new year resolutions, I can't stick to them! I don't have the willpower to give up mayonnaise, bread or snoozing my alarm for 30 mins... BUT there is one thing I promise to do every year🙏To be even kinder, love even more & to make sure everyone I'm blessed to be in the company of knows just how wonderful they are (unless they're not 🤣).
I realise, for someone as empathic as me, the only way I can charge my spiritual battery & my heart is to immerse myself in the little joys from the way the sunset paints the sky fondant orange, fresh flowers pucker up for kissing, music, invigorating company & dear friendship... And when a damn good tune comes on. I sing (badly) I dance (okay THAT I can do😝) and I lose myself in that joy.
Although I'd love the world to be a better place in 2026, I think we have a helluva lot of work to do so until then, let's all protect ourselves with little joys & give as much love & kindness as we can to everyone we meet. It's my superpower against the baddies out there... 💪💪💪 Oh... And worship animals eeeeven more because well... Animals! ❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️
So... That's my promise for this year. And I'll start by saying I love you all! Be safe, be happy, be healthy. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday period & are ready for what 2026 brings! Slainte 😘🥂

Marlon and Rhona used to be strong interesting characters, but the scriptwriters have turned them into unbelievable wet blankets. Disappointing that they haven’t called in Cain and Ross (and Mandy!) for help #emmerdale
