Each link has a settings modal: - You can set public or private visibility - You can allow uploads or disable them - You can generate QR codes - Each link has statistics that keep the privacy of users while at the same time reporting on the activity of your shared link

New Feature: Full syntax highlighting click on any code or text file. 100+ file types. Python, TypeScript, Rust, JSON, Markdown, CSV, and everything in between. Markdown renders as a formatted preview. JSON gets a collapsible tree. CSV shows as an interactive table. FileGrab runs on @CloudflareDev Workers. workers have a 128MB memory limit. our Pro users upload files up to 2GB. so how does that work? Streaming. files never sit in memory. they flow straight from the browser to R2 storage in chunks. the worker just orchestrates the handoff. Small files: direct upload via Worker. Large files: multipart upload, chunked, streamed straight to R2. we also just enabled R2 Local Uploads. instead of your file traveling across the world to reach our storage bucket, it lands at the nearest cloudflare location first, then replicates behind the scenes. combine that with workers running on 300+ edge locations and your upload hits the nearest datacenter, stores locally, and replicates globally. no origin server or memory bottleneck.

The worst part of my job is having to test our Android app on a test phone by sending a Google Drive link to my email, installing the build (fails randomly), & tapping around on an interface I hate, but gotta smoke test things 🤷

sucks that discord is entering its enshittification period because it was the best universal notepad/dropbox app for multiple devices/OS/systems. could effortlessly share links, media, take notes across browsers, devices, computers

@CloudflareDev This is huge for us. We built our file sharing platform on R2 and users outside the US always had slower uploads. Just enabled Local Uploads on our bucket - can't wait to see the latency numbers drop for our international users.
